Özet

Bu çalışma, dijital hastanelerde kullanılan bilgi sistemlerinin, sağlık bakım hizmetlerinde en yaygın görülen önlenebilir sorunlardan biri olan ilaç hatalarını azaltmadaki etkinliğini 2000 yılı sonrasındaki araştırmalar ışığında değerlendirmektedir. HIMSS EMRAM kriterlerine göre derecelendirilen ve kağıtsız çalışma ortamı sağlayan dijital hastaneler; Elektronik Sağlık Kaydı (ESK), Bilgisayarlı Hekim Order Sistemi (CPOE), Klinik Karar Destek Sistemleri (KKDS) ve Radyo Frekansı ile Tanılama (RFID) gibi entegre teknolojilerden yararlanmaktadır. CPOE ve KKDS entegrasyonu okunamayan el yazısından doğan aksaklıkları ortadan kaldırırken; doğru doz ayarı, ilaç etkileşimi uyarıları ve mükerrer reçetelerin engellenmesini sağlamakta, RFID teknolojisi ise hasta başında beş doğru kuralına uygun şekilde doğru hasta ve doğru ilaç eşleşmesini doğrulamaktadır. İncelenen 13 bilimsel araştırmanın 11'inde dijital hastane sistemlerinin ilaç hatalarını, advers olayları ve zamanlama sapmalarını anlamlı düzeyde düşürdüğü, sağlık personelinin iş yükünü azaltarak hasta bakım kalitesini ve güvenliğini artırdığı saptanmıştır.

In this study, the effectiveness of information systems used in digital hospitals in reducing medication errors—one of the most common preventable issues in healthcare services—is evaluated in light of research conducted after the year 2000. Digital hospitals, rated according to HIMSS EMRAM criteria and providing a paperless working environment, utilize integrated technologies such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE), Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS), and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The integration of CPOE and CDSS eliminates issues arising from illegible handwriting while enabling accurate dosage adjustments, drug interaction alerts, and the prevention of duplicate prescriptions, whereas RFID technology verifies correct patient and medication matching at the bedside in accordance with the five rights rule. In 11 out of the 13 scientific studies reviewed, digital hospital systems were found to significantly reduce medication errors, adverse events, and timing discrepancies, while reducing the workload of healthcare staff and enhancing patient care quality and safety.
