This study aims to determine the career awareness levels of undergraduate sports science students under social restrictions and the transition to distance education during the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic and to examine them according to various demographic variables. Using the survey model from quantitative research methods, the sample of the research consists of 633 volunteer students studying at 11 state universities. The data were collected using the Career Awareness Scale, consisting of 18 items and four sub-dimensions (vocational development inclination, vocational readiness, vocational career consciousness, and vocational self-confidence). According to the research findings, the general career awareness score of the students is at a high level with an average of 3.69. Among the sub-dimensions, the highest average was detected in vocational career consciousness, while the lowest average was in vocational development inclination. Female students' career awareness levels were found to be statistically significantly higher than those of male students. According to the department variable, students in Physical Education and Sports Teaching had the highest awareness, whereas the Sports Management department showed the lowest average. While the awareness of 1st and 3rd-year students stood out at the class level, it was observed that the level of awareness decreased as age advanced. Furthermore, it was determined that students with high grade point averages, those aiming for postgraduate education, and those doing regular sports had significantly higher career awareness. In conclusion, despite the anxiety and restrictions brought by the pandemic process, it is understood that students' career awareness was generally not negatively affected and remained at a high level.
