Spor Biyomekaniği
Özet
Spor biyomekaniği, spor branşlarındaki hareketlerin nasıl gerçekleştirildiğini anlamak amacıyla fizik yasalarından yararlanarak kuvvet, enerji transferi, vücut uzuvlarının konumlanışı ve ivmelenme gibi parametreleri inceleyen disiplinler arası bir alt bilim dalıdır. Tarihsel gelişiminde Aristoteles'in ilk eser sayılan De Motu Animalium çalışması, Galenus'un fizyolojik incelemeleri, Leonardo da Vinci'nin Vitruvius Adamı çizimiyle antropometriye katkıları, Vesalius'un ilk modern insan iskeletini oluşturması, Galileo'nun canlı vücutlarının fiziksel kuvvetlere tepkilerini açıklaması ve Borelli'nin kas-eklem dengesi ile kütle merkezine dair bulguları öne çıkmaktadır. 19. yüzyılda Marey'in kronofotografi ile kinetik zinciri göstermesi ve Muybridge'in koşan atlar üzerindeki fotoğrafik incelemeleri modern hareket analizinin temellerini oluşturmuştur.
Sports biomechanics is an interdisciplinary sub-discipline that utilizes the laws of physics to examine parameters such as force, energy transfer, body limb positioning, and acceleration in order to understand how movements in sports branches are performed. In its historical development, Aristotle's De Motu Animalium work—considered the first text in the field—Galenus's physiological studies, Leonardo da Vinci's contributions to anthropometry through his drawing of the Vitruvian Man, Vesalius's creation of the first modern human skeleton, Galileo's explanations on living bodies' responses to physical forces, and Borelli's findings regarding muscle-joint equilibrium and center of mass stand out. In the 19th century, Marey's demonstration of the kinetic chain via chronophotography and Muybridge's photographic studies on galloping horses formed the foundations of modern motion analysis. Measurement methods in this field utilize anthropometric values alongside force platforms as well as optical (passive, active, time-sequenced markers) and non-optical (inertial, mechanical, magnetic, and flexible sensors) motion capture systems. These technological methods and modelings play an active role in preventing sports injuries, planning post-injury rehabilitation and recovery processes, enhancing athletic performance, and developing protective sports equipment. Finally, the accurate evaluation of physical concepts explained in the last section—such as speed, velocity, power, force, acceleration, center of mass, energy, momentum, impulse, and angular velocity—ensures a complete understanding of the scientific foundations of sports biomechanics.
